In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster curiosity, independence, and social skills in each child. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while working in a vibrant, collaborative setting. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for toddlers Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Foster positive behavior management strategies to support children's emotional regulation and social interactions Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, napping, and hygiene practices Incorporate early childhood education principles to enhance language development, motor skills, and creativity Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities aligned with childhood development standards Experience Prior classroom experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is a must. Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early childhood education Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment Familiarity with behavior management techniques and working with diverse groups of children Join us in shaping the future by providing joyful learning experiences for our youngest learners!
