Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development in toddler/preschool-aged children. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence. Manage daily classroom activities, including circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, storytime, and hands-on learning experiences. Support children with diverse needs by applying principles of special education and early intervention strategies to ensure all students receive appropriate support. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order while promoting positive behavior and social interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular updates on their child's progress and behavior. Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, assessments, and incident reports in compliance with licensing standards. Support classroom management by organizing materials, supervising activities, and ensuring a clean and safe environment at all times. Requirements Preschool or daycare experience is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development. Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles while maintaining compliance with educational standards. Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning.
