Overview We are a warm, play‑based in‑home daycare dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment for young children. Our program focuses on hands‑on learning, outdoor play, and positive social‑emotional development. We are looking for a caring, reliable individual to join our small team and support daily childcare operations. Responsibilities Child Supervision — Engage with children ages 6 months-5 years through play, learning activities, and daily routines. Activity Support — Assist with crafts, sensory play, circle time, and outdoor exploration. Daily Care Tasks — Help with meals, diapering, potty training, and nap transitions. Safety & Cleanliness — Maintain a clean, organized, and child‑safe environment. Parent Communication — Provide friendly, professional updates as needed. Behavior Guidance — Use positive, supportive discipline techniques. Qualifications Experience working with children CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days Ability to pass a background check Teacher certified(required) Reliable, patient, and comfortable in a busy childcare environment Strong communication and teamwork skills CBR number for the state of Oregon (required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid training and professional development opportunities Supportive, family‑oriented work environment Consistent schedule with small group ratios Paid time off
