Child Care Assistant Teacher / Classroom Aide

Diamond Street Early Childhood Center is a medium sized nonprofit Preschool and Childcare Center. We seek to hire individuals who are high energy and have a passion for providing children with the opportunity to reach their potential despite outside circumstances. We are currently seeking a Floating Assistant Teacher or Classroom Aide for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. This position is Full Time (32-40 hours) or Part Time (20 hours) M-F.

The right candidates will:

Be high energy and the able to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) Clear full background check, pass health screening, be able to lift 30 lbs. and move freely around a typical classroom in order to safely supervise the children at all times. Hold a High School Diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old (For Assistant position) Have documentation of 2500 hours (2 years full time) working with or volunteering with children

$10.00 - $13.50 per hour
