Job Description

Lehigh Valley Sports Turf is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our Preschool/Pre-K Program! This is not your typical preschool experience. Located in our 10,000 sq. ft. indoor sports facility, our program combines early childhood education, sports, movement, and creative play to provide children with a unique environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for a lead teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of helping children develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. The ideal candidate believes in the power of teamwork, creativity, and active learning while creating a positive and engaging classroom environment. Our goal is to support the healthy mental, emotional, social, and educational development of each child while preparing them for the next step in their academic journey.
Schedule Monday-Friday Hours:
7:00 AM-3:00
PM School Year:
August 31st-May 28th with the option to work our Summer Camp program following the end of the school year Qualifications Previous experience working with preschool-aged children Experience creating and implementing engaging lesson plans Strong classroom management and communication skills Patient, creative, organized, and dependable Excellent communication skills, professional appearance and a positive attitude PA State Clearances and Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification required Experience with sports, games, or physical activities is a plus, but not required A fun, energetic, and outgoing personality that helps create a welcoming environment Responsibilities Create a fun, engaging, and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Encourage positive interactions between children and help guide them through conflict resolution Create and implement a structured Pre-K curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten by strengthening foundational skills such as letter recognition, phonics, early writing, number concepts, problem-solving, communication, and classroom independence Organize and supervise snack and lunch while ensuring children's safety and well-being Maintain consistent communication with parents and provide updates regarding their child's growth and development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets health and safety standards
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
