Position:
Child Care Floater Type:
Full-Time, 37.5-40 hours per week for 52 weeks per year
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:30am-5:30pm. No nights or weekends!

ASAP What You'll Do:
As a Floater, you'll support our classrooms across all age groups—bringing energy, flexibility, and a love of learning wherever you go. Under the guidance of the Group Supervisor, you will: Engage with children through developmentally appropriate activities Plan and implement educational and play-based programming Step into classrooms as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Foster strong relationships with staff, parents, and children Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Conduct developmental assessments and participate in parent-teacher conferences Supervise and support aides, volunteers, and other support staff Uphold all state and program regulations, including DHS, NAEYC, and STARS standards
Who You Are:
A caring and enthusiastic professional with a genuine love for children Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age Flexible and dependable, with excellent communication skills Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and engaging in physical play (kneeling, sitting on the floor, etc.) Committed to ongoing learning and professional development
Requirements:
Prior experience in a childcare or early education setting preferred Has or is willing to obtain up-to-date clearances, CPR/First Aid certification, and health assessment. Is eager to learn and grow through professional development and ongoing training. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Must meet all health and safety requirements (including daily routines like handwashing, brushing teeth with children, etc.) Why Join Us? Salary Description $12.79-$14.73 depending on education
