Job Description
Lifesteps, a local non-profit agency in Butler, PA is currently hiring a full-time (12 month) Preschool Teacher who will work Monday through Friday, daylight hours, to prepare children for kindergarten. Normal hours are 8 am until 5 pm at our childcare center. We will consider part-time hours for the preschool teacher role, as well. This preschool teacher position will assist in the classroom with lesson planning, scheduling, and daily activities. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a quality-driven, developmentally-appropriate early education experience that supports all children regardless of their diverse abilities. This position will also serve in the capacity of Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS child care staff) as needed to meet ratio in a particular classroom and float throughout the different preschool classrooms, if needed, in Butler center.
