Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Education Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, with expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and working with children of diverse needs. As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning atmosphere, and supporting the developmental growth of each child. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development while working within a collaborative team committed to excellence in education. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate curricula that promote literacy, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and physical development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies are in place. Collaborate with families to support each child's individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Conduct assessments of children's progress through observations and standardized testing to inform instruction and report on developmental milestones. Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as Montessori techniques and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, fostering professional growth and teamwork within the classroom setting. Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all children. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Expertise in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, and physical education. Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Experience with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education. Prior private school or Montessori classroom experience is a plus but not mandatory. Relevant certifications such as Child Development Associate (CDA), early childhood education degree, or equivalent credentials are preferred. Pay:
$34,924.00 - $38,924.00 per year
