Preschool Teacher

We are a small, private preschool seeking that special someone to work with our adorable 3-year-olds and our 4-year-olds! The 3-year-old teacher position is for Monday through Friday mornings and the 4-year-old teacher position is Monday though Thursday or possibly Monday through Friday. If you love to teach but also want time for yourself, this is the job for you!

• Our school year runs September through May
• We strive to provide a nurturing, hands-on, positive learning environment for students of all abilities.
• Teacher is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment, creating and implementing daily lessons, completing student assessments and maintaining communication with parents.
• A classroom aide assists with daily duties and supervision of children.

Requirements:

Must meet state specific guidelines including obtaining necessary clearances; PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record, FBI Background Check and NSOR clearance Early Childhood Education degree preferred or a Private Academic Certificate. Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with children.
