Responsibilities Lead daily classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and age-appropriate play to promote healthy development. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support infant growth in areas such as motor skills, language, and social-emotional development. Monitor and document each child's progress, communicating regularly with parents about milestones and concerns. Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws. Manage classroom behavior with positive guidance techniques to foster a respectful and nurturing environment. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health regulations. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is essential. Knowledge of child development instruction and childhood development principles. Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to supervise children effectively. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork collaboration. Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education and child safety standards.
