Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Director/Group Supervisor to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their growth and development through engaging activities and attentive care. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a positive learning atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines to meet individual needs Implement curriculum plans that support childhood development milestones and foster curiosity Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education Experience with classroom management strategies to foster a respectful and engaging environment Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities is advantageous Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain upon hire is expected Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, team members, and caregivers Join us in creating joyful learning experiences that shape young minds!
