Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. This role involves working with children of various ages, providing care, engaging in educational activities, and fostering their development. Duties Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the classroom and during activities. Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development. Provide care for infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Support children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities to meet individual requirements. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction and emotional growth. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare program. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working in daycare settings or similar environments. Ability to educate and engage children through creative play and structured activities. Knowledge of special education practices for working with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children's needs. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
