Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum development best practices. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies. Support children's social-emotional growth through individualized child development instruction and early intervention techniques. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to build strong home-school partnerships. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress using standardized testing methods when applicable. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR certifications. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating classroom experience with young learners. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices. Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education as needed. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
