A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

Curriculum & Play:
Design and implement age-appropriate, hands-on lesson plans that encourage social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a warm, organized, and predictable daily routine using positive guidance techniques.
Parent Partnerships:
Keep families in the loop with daily updates, digital tracking app updates, and open, friendly communication.
Health & Safety:
Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that complies with all state licensing regulations.
Mentorship:
Act as a positive role model and mentor to assistant teachers and aides in your classroom. What We Are Looking For Because this is a lead position, we are looking for a professional with hands-on classroom experience:
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center or baby sitting experience.
Education:
High School Diploma Credentials:
Valid CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Skills:
Excellent communication, a calm and patient presence, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
Requirements:
