Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Quality Early Childhood Teacher at Genius Kids Upper Allen! Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to early childhood development standards and individual student needs. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere by managing behavior effectively and promoting respectful interactions among children. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Support children with special education needs through early intervention strategies and individualized lesson modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, behavioral insights, and developmental milestones. Ensure classroom safety and cleanliness while adhering to childcare regulations and best practices in childhood welfare. Experience Two years of prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains such as literacy education, math, and physical. Experience working with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and preschoolers, with an understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of special education techniques, early intervention programs, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with daycare operations, private school environments, or similar childcare settings is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
