Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will support children's development through attentive supervision, activity planning, and effective communication with parents and guardians. Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care, preschooler activities, and elementary school-age programs Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Apply behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and social skills among children Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate response to minor injuries or emergencies Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth program settings Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children in classroom or daycare environments Familiarity with behavior management strategies tailored for young children Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's needs and progress Training or certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Join our team to inspire growth, foster curiosity, and create joyful experiences for children every day!
