Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Pre k Counts certified PK-4 Teacher to join our Early Childhood Pre-K Counts program at our Quakertown early learning center. . (Program Hours 9:00-3:30 pm M-F•school year August 31•June 11,2027•. Opportunity to also work FT through summer at camp. In this vital role, you will deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to young children, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a positive classroom atmosphere where children feel valued, inspired, and eager to learn. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during a temporary but crucial teaching assignment. Duties Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans aligned with early childhood standards and the Pre-K Counts program requirements Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy, math, social skills, and creative activities Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Foster a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional development and inclusivity for children from diverse backgrounds Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent instructional practices and share best teaching strategies Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, milestones, and classroom activities Utilize educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, attendance, and developmental progress Follow mandated reporting laws and school policies related to child safety and well-being Qualifications Prior experience working with young children in preschool or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and curriculum implementation techniques Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies Experience working with children with special needs or autism is preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs and diverse cultural backgrounds Proficiency with educational technologies and computers used in classroom settings Knowledge of early childhood education standards, school policies, and mandated reporting laws Private school or preschool experience is a plus; formal credentials in early childhood degree are required for the lead teacher Join us at LifeSpan School & Daycare where your dedication can shape the future of young learners!
