We are currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Special Instructor to provide Early Intervention services to Spanish-speaking children and families. Candidates must be fluent in both English and Spanish and meet the education and experience requirements listed below. You will provide services to children ages birth to 3 in their homes, daycares, community settings, or via teletherapy (if requested by the parent). You choose the number of clients, your travel area, and the schedule that works best for you. Caseloads vary depending on your availability. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Special Education Minimum of one year of experience working with children ages birth to 5 Fluent in English and Spanish What We're Looking For An individual with: Strong organizational and communication skills Flexibility and patience Attention to detail Physical endurance A solid understanding of child development A professional demeanor at all times Job Responsibilities Include Special Instructors at Happy Hearts provide Early Intervention support to help children grow across multiple areas, including play skills, behavior management, cognitive development, social interactions, and motor and language development.
Responsibilities include:
Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure optimal outcomes Meet with families in their natural environments (home, daycare, or community) to coach parents and caregivers Encourage family involvement to maximize the child's progress Record progress and write detailed session notes with coaching strategies and carryover suggestions Complete quarterly reports and updates to the child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Participate in IFSP meetings and collaborate with team members Perform other duties as needed About Happy Hearts LLC Happy Hearts is an Early Intervention agency made up of compassionate, caring professionals dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families. You choose your hours, caseload, and travel area within Schuylkill, Berks, and/or Lebanon Counties, Pennsylvania. Caseloads vary depending on your availability.
