Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant educational team as a Classroom Aide and play a vital role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children of diverse needs. In this energetic position, you will support lead teachers by assisting with daily classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and fostering positive interactions with students. Your dedication will help promote early childhood development, literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth in a supportive setting. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans focused on literacy education, math, and curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized environment for children Work directly with children to support their individual needs, including those with autism or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation in activities Help facilitate activities that promote childhood development, such as toddler care, Montessori methods, or preschool routines Support classroom routines including snack time, rest periods, and transitions to foster independence and social skills Assist with documentation of student progress and behavior management strategies for ongoing assessment Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere Skills Strong knowledge of special education principles and experience working with children with disabilities or autism Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development for early childhood settings Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members Experience in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and learning engagement Familiarity with childcare practices such as daycare, preschool activities, toddler care, and Montessori methods Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and diverse learning styles Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices in early childhood education Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining patience and enthusiasm This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to support young learners' growth while developing their own skills in education.
