Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape the foundational years of young learners. In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with lesson implementation, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum aligned with educational standards and learning objectives Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and conflict resolution among children Prepare instructional materials, learning resources, and classroom setups to facilitate effective lesson delivery Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and creative play to promote holistic development Collaborate with specialists in special education and early childhood development to support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations Use learning technology platforms (LMS) to track student progress, document activities, and communicate with parents or guardians Assist in tutoring or individualized instruction sessions to reinforce learning concepts and support student success Requirements Prior experience working with young children in preschool or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and instructional design Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a plus Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members, parents, and students effectively Ability to manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and conflict management skills Proficiency in using learning technology tools such as LMS platforms for documentation and communication purposes Certification or coursework related to early childhood education or Montessori methods is advantageous This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to foster a love of learning in young children while developing their own teaching skills.
