Mid year and end of year bonuses are available, as well as other 'competitive' bonuses. Candidates must have at least two (2) years' experience as either a childcare center director or assistant director.
Office Responsibilities:
- Collecting and entering childcare tuition and doing weekly deposits.
- Maintaining Procare as far as entering new children, tuition collected, changes in rates, and yearly registration fees.
- Making payment plans for parents who have outstanding balances.
- Managing ELRC subsidy co pays, enrollment summaries, adverse actions. Also completing monthly attendance sheets for payment and sending the ELRC subsidy form to corporate.
- Manage staff paid time off and vacation time.
- Oversee the ordering and usage of supplies for the center.
- Collecting weekly lesson plans and distributing monthly newsletters and calendars to parents.
- Assisting in marketing the center to potential parents and building enrollment.
Staffing Responsibilities:
- Maintain classroom ratios.
- Assist in covering breaks and ratios for all rooms.
- Provide staff with yearly reviews and helping them to set goals for the upcoming year.
- Assist in onboarding staff.
- General supervision of all staff.
State Regulation Responsibilities:
- Preparing for yearly inspections by the commonwealth.
- Maintaining children files.
- Maintaining staff files.
- Scheduling center trainings to meet regulations.
- Ensuring all staff trainings have been completed.
- Maintaining STARS ranking.
Center Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the overall look and "first impression" of the center.
- Ensure regular cleaning of center.
- Planning and scheduling center activities both during the school year and for summer camp.
- Creating a fun and safe environment for children.
- Supervising and reporting maintenance items.
