Assistant Group Supervisor - Child Care We're looking for a fun, dependable, energetic Assistant Group Supervisor who genuinely enjoys working with children and isn't afraid to jump right into the action! This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly the same. You'll help create a safe, happy, engaging environment where children can learn, play, explore, and have a great day while their families are at work. What You'll Be Doing Planning and participating in fun, age-appropriate activities , crafts, games, sensory play, music, outdoor play, and more Playing with the children, being silly, getting creative, and making their day FUN Preparing, serving, and assisting with meals and snacks Completing diaper changes and bathroom routines while maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation Supervising children closely throughout the entire day and maintaining required ratios Helping children with nap/rest time, transitions, handwashing, clean-up, and everyday routines Keeping classrooms clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next adventure Providing lots of encouragement, comfort, patience, and positive interaction Helping children learn social skills, independence, communication, and how to be part of a classroom community Communicating with coworkers and working together as a team Following all center policies, licensing requirements, health and safety procedures, and daily schedules Most importantly — showing up ready to PLAY, TEACH, LAUGH, and make a difference in a child's day! If you're someone who can handle a little mess, a lot of noise, endless questions, dance parties, tiny hugs, big personalities, and a job that is definitely never boring — you might fit right in with us! Child care experience is a plus, but having a positive attitude, reliability, patience, and a genuine love for working with children is HUGE.
Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
