Requirements:

Experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood classroom is required . Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred . Strong communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills. Passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning. Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children on their level. Creativity and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play. Strong organizational skills to manage classroom materials, resources, and student records. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
