Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This position involves working with children from infancy to school-age, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and individualized care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care to infants and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play. Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social skills and emotional growth. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Supervise children's activities to ensure they are safe and constructive. Keep the daycare environment clean, organized, and conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in infant care or working in daycare settings is required. Will consider proof of credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, or elementary education. Familiarity with special education is a plus. Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or preschool teaching is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children are essential qualities for success in this role. Requirements Must be able to pass Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, and NSOR Verification. Provide documentation of all experience in childcare (private or center-based) as well as credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, or elementary education. A minimum of 2,500 hours (combined) is required. Must be available to work weekdays, as scheduled, between the hours of 6:00 am and 7:00 pm.
