Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging environment that promotes developmental growth, curiosity, and a love for learning among toddlers. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong skills in literacy, social-emotional development, and physical coordination. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Engage children through interactive activities focused on literacy education, math concepts, and sensory play Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt lesson plans accordingly Maintain detailed records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and classroom incidents to ensure child welfare and compliance with licensing standards Requirements Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management strategies Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education for young children Experience supporting children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists Ability to implement Montessori or other educational philosophies that promote active learning and independence Certification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged Join us as a Toddler Teacher and be part of a vibrant community dedicated to fostering joyful learning experiences.
