Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to foster developmental growth, support emotional well-being, and promote positive learning experiences for our youngest learners. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote infant development in areas such as motor skills, language, social-emotional growth, and cognitive abilities. Provide attentive supervision and care to infants, ensuring their safety at all times through vigilant child supervision and classroom management. Engage with children through play, sensory activities, and interactive learning to encourage curiosity and exploration. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that meets health and safety standards, including adhering to mandated reporting laws and health protocols. Administer first aid or pediatric first aid when necessary, responding swiftly to any injuries or health issues. Collaborate with team members to plan activities that support childhood development and address individual needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR (Childhood First Aid) is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and early childhood education standards. Experience in toddler care, babysitting, nannying, or childcare roles demonstrating responsibility for young children's safety and well-being. Ability to create a warm, engaging environment that encourages learning through play while maintaining high standards of child supervision.
