We are seeking a thoughtful, collaborative, and reflective Toddler Educator to join our Reggio Emilia-inspired learning community, working with children ages 18 months to 2½ years. In our classrooms, children's ideas, questions, and discoveries guide the learning journey, creating a rich environment where both children and educators grow together. About the Role As a Toddler Educator, you will build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues while helping to create an engaging curriculum inspired by children's interests and emerging inquiries. Through intentional observation, documentation, and reflection, you will support toddlers as they develop language, confidence, independence, social connections, and a strong sense of belonging. What You'll Do Create a nurturing, responsive environment that celebrates each child's individuality and growing independence Observe, document, and interpret children's thinking to inform meaningful learning experiences Design open-ended, sensory-rich invitations that encourage exploration, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving Engage in reflective practice and ongoing dialogue with colleagues to deepen teaching and learning Partner closely with families as valued collaborators in each child's educational journey Support children's communication through their many forms of expression—the "hundred languages" of children, including movement, play, art, storytelling, and more What We're Looking For Experience working with toddlers (18 months-2.5 years preferred) A reflective educator who embraces curiosity, inquiry, and collaboration Familiarity with, or a genuine interest in learning about, the Reggio Emilia approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills EEC certification (or willingness to obtain, if applicable) A warm, flexible, and team-oriented mindset Why You'll Love Working With Us We value our educators as professionals and invest in their growth, well-being, and success.
