Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pre-school Gymnastics Instructor primarily for our Saturday morning programming, to inspire young children through engaging physical activities that promote coordination, confidence, and fun. In this role, you will design and lead dynamic gymnastics classes tailored specifically for preschool-aged children, fostering a safe, supportive, and lively environment where kids can develop fundamental motor skills. Your enthusiasm for teaching and physical activity will help cultivate a love for movement while ensuring each child's safety and enjoyment. Duties Lead lively and age-appropriate gymnastics sessions that incorporate basic tumbling, balance, coordination, and flexibility exercises for preschool children. Create a positive and energetic atmosphere that encourages children to participate actively and confidently in class activities. Monitor children closely to ensure safety during all activities, applying proper behavior management techniques to maintain discipline and focus. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and achievements in class. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe gym environment by inspecting equipment regularly and adhering to safety standards. Adapt lessons to accommodate varying skill levels and individual needs of children while promoting teamwork and social interaction. Skills Previous experience working with young children in childcare or educational settings is highly desirable. Strong background in teaching physical education, sports coaching, or gymnastics is a plus, but not required. Experience in behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Ability to demonstrate enthusiasm and motivate young children through active engagement and positive reinforcement. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children effectively. Join us in creating an exciting space where preschoolers can explore movement, build confidence, and develop lifelong healthy habits!
