In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental needs of infants from birth to toddler age. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners and contribute to their growth in a safe, engaging, and stimulating setting. Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants' needs, incorporating elements of literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and independence among infants and toddlers. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when appropriate, ensuring individualized attention. Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities with patience and professionalism. Collaborate with families to share insights on child welfare, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones. Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and licensing requirements while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare settings; classroom management skills are essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and Montessori or other educational philosophies is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Experience with lesson planning that includes curriculum development for infants and toddlers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities as an Infant Lead Teacher. Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable; relevant coursework in early childhood education or special education is a plus. The important of using their imagination to learn about the word in their own lens and not their peers or staff. Developing self-confidence, self-awareness, respect for them self and their classmates. Hours of operation are 6am-6pm. Flexible schedule within these hours. 6-8 hour shifts.
