The ideal candidate will be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. The Childcare Educator will be responsible for supervising children, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean and organized daycare facility. What you'll do Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and creativity. Provide attentive care to infants and/ or toddler aged children, ensuring their needs are met. Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional development among children. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom or daycare setting. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Collaborate with other childcare staff to ensure consistent care and support for all children. Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training as needed. Experience Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting such as daycare, preschool, or nannying. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices related to early education. Familiarity with special education techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. First aid and CPR certification is preferred to have, required within 45 days of employment. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment. Experience in caregiving roles that involve behavior management techniques. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
