Early Childhood Educator Red Bank United Methodist DaySchool Chattanooga, TN Job Details Part-time $15 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Activity-based lessons (early childhood general education) Childcare CPR Certification Teamwork Daycare First aid training High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Lesson planning Full Job Description We are looking for a patient, reliable, and creative individual who loves working with young children in a supportive, faith-based setting. Our MDO program serves children ages 8mo- 4yrs, providing a safe and engaging place to grow, explore, and build relationships.
HOURS OF OPERATION
: T/TH 8:30am -2:30pm - Follows County School Schedule Additional hours available with our Full Day Preschool on the same campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a loving, structured classroom environment rooted in developmentally appropriate practice Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support early learning and social development Supervise children with attention to safety and emotional well-being Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and coworkers Collaborate with the MDO Director and other team members to create a positive program culture
Qualifications:
Prior experience working with young children (church, school, daycare, or volunteer experience welcomed) Ability to lift and care for small children Dependable, warm, and team-oriented CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) High school diploma or GED required; relevant coursework or degree in early childhood education is a plus
