Child Care Worker 595 Airport Road, Gallatin, TN 37066 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time Company Overview The Learning Tree Child Development Center is dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are committed to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where young children can learn, play, and thrive. Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Child Care Workers to join our vibrant team. In this paid position, you will play a vital role in caring for young children, supporting their early childhood development, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere. Your energy and dedication will help foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Write and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning through play and exploration Support children with their individual needs, including toddler care, infant care, and working with children with disabilities Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and development Use behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and emotional growth Assist with feeding, diapering, nap times, and other routine caregiving duties Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress and needs Requirements Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain upon hire is necessary Ability to work well with individuals with disabilities and adapt activities accordingly Must be reliable, energetic, and passionate about caring for young children Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be able to pass a background check Pay depends on experience Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children!
