Infant/Toddler Teacher Little Oaks Academy - 2.2 Knoxville, TN Job Details Full-time $16 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Summary LOA is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young children and committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. Duties Provide attentive and responsive care for infants and toddlers Create a warm, positive, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Follow daily schedules and routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and classroom activities Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and development Follow all licensing regulations and center policies Requirements Must be dependable, patient, and able to work well as part of a team Experience working with infants and/or toddlers preferred High school diploma or GED required CDA, Early Childhood coursework, or related experience preferred Must be able to pass all required background checks CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain About Us Little Oaks Academy (LOA) is a daycare facility licensed by the Tennessee Department of Human Services ("DHS"). The purpose of our early childhood education and development program is to promote the development of the total child - physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially, using age-appropriate activities under the guidance of professional, loving, and caring teachers. As a non-profit, LOA operates under a Board of Directors (the Board). The Board is charged with defining the mission, vision, and values of LOA's early childhood education and development program.
