As a Staff member at Kids Cove Drop-In Child Care, your main duty will involve designing and executing educational experiences for children ranging from 6 months to 12 years old. Your objective will be to captivate children within an enjoyable and educational setting, all while prioritizing their safety and welfare. This role calls for a creative mindset, patience, and a genuine love for interacting with children..

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement educational programs and activities that are age-appropriate and aligned with Kids Cove Drop-In Child Care's curriculum. Engage children in interactive activities, such as arts and crafts, storytelling, music, and games, to stimulate their creativity and imagination. Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on their child's progress and address any questions or concerns they may have. Qualifications Previous experience working with children in an educational or child care setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain certification). Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as per the child care center's needs.
