Part Time Daycare Assistant 20 Hours Per Week

Job Summary Are you a stay at home mom looking to make some extra income? Is your child in school and you need a part time job? Join my in home daycare as a Part Time Daycare Assistant, working 20 hours per week to support the development and well-being of young children. Before we go any further please note this job is meant For someone who needs a little extra income. You can bring up to one child for free (this is a $225 value). Pay rate is $10 per hour. In this rewarding role, you will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster positive experiences for children during their formative years, ensuring they feel valued and supported every day. Duties Assist with supervising children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement. Support classroom management by helping organize activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Implement age-appropriate educational activities that encourage social skills, creativity, and curiosity. Maintain a clean and safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including basic first aid when necessary. Assist with diapering, feeding, and comforting infants and toddlers to meet their individual needs. Skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or babysitting roles. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure quick response in emergencies (Must be completed before starting work) Ability to engage children through creative play, teaching, and nurturing care. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, parents, and guardians.
