Job Description

- Knoxville!
- to apply you MUST have Tuesday AND Thursday morning availability.
- Week day shifts typically run 8am to 12 (or 1pm) and 12pm (or 1pm) to 4 or 6pm. Additional shifts may be available.
- If allowed by school, can be used as an internship to fulfill requirements
Who We Are:
WRTS- Knoxville is a sensory-safe kids' gym/play space designed for ALL children
- neurotypical, neurodivergent, and those with any special abilities! With over 6,000 square feet of play and party space, we provide a safe, clean, and inclusive environment where kids can learn, play, and grow. Through purposeful play, we provide a space for children to build strength, confidence, and friendships
- all while having fun!
Job responsibilities:
During Open Play, parents are required to remain with their children. Your role is to check families in, engage with families, offering support when needed, and answer any questions during their visit. You are also responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe environment at all times. You are NOT 1:1 with kids on a day-to-day basis as parents should be with their child(ren), but interaction is ALWAYS highly encouraged. At special events, such as Parent's Night Out (PNO) or Day Camps, you will work more directly 1:1 with children as part of your responsibilities. On weekends you will likely work alongside other team members- as well as the responsibilities listed above, you would also be required to setup/break down/clean party rooms, assist party guests, arrange/rearrange party decor, set up food, etc.
Requirements:
- A mature individual with professional business acumen who can multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment . It is crucial to be adaptable, dependable, highly motivated & self-starter.
- Someone who will clean/organize play space & toys, is an amazing communicator , a self-starter , fast-learner and someone who doesn't mind to go above and beyond for the families we serve!
- Passion for working with children of ALL abilities
- experience is a huge plus!
- A VERY energetic, enthusiastic and positive attitude is a must!
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Canva, Screen Cloud etc is a plus!
- Someone who will make themselves available to work after-hour events, such as Parents Night Out, Respite care, and/or other special events.
- Must be at least 16 with a driver's license
- Current (or willingness to obtain) CPR certification, background check & drug test
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
IMPORTANT
- As a children's play space, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment is a top priority.

$10.00- $15.
