Job Description

Providing care for children, such as schedules, snacks, and cleaning rooms. Developing & encouraging age-appropriate learning and socialization to ensure children learn basic skills and concepts. Maintaining a safe workplace. Ensuring children are learning positive behaviors and providing guidance or approved discipline, as needed. Keeping records relating to child care. Hours are 2:30-6:00 with the possibility of more hours during breaks when school is closed and we are open full days. Summary As an Adventure Club worker, you will be instrumental in creating a fun and safe environment for children participating in various activities. Reporting to the program coordinator, your core skills in childcare and experience with children will be essential in supervising and engaging participants. Your premium skills in first aid and classroom management will ensure safety and effective group dynamics. Additionally, your relevant skills in sports coaching and early childhood education will enhance the overall experience, fostering growth and enjoyment for all involved. Qualifications Experience working with children in various settings, such as camps or daycare Strong childcare skills, including behavior management and childhood development Familiarity with classroom management techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR Background in special education or tutoring Ability to engage children through sports coaching, theater, or other activities
