Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans for children in the early childhood education setting
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
  • Assess and monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
  • Special education experience or training is a plus
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desired, but not required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Knowledge of child welfare and safety guidelines
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Skills:
  • Classroom management: Ability to maintain order and discipline in the classroom while creating a positive learning environment.
  • Experience with children: Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Preschool:
    Knowledge of age-appropriate curriculum and activities for preschool-aged children.
  • Physical education: Ability to keep up with younger children
Pay:
$13.00
