Job Description

This position is perfect for those who love young children and are eager to develop their practical skills through hands-on time in classrooms. This is a part-time position working, Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-5:15pm, with the opportunity for additional hours as needed by the center. This position reports to the Site Director. Key Responsibilities
  • Alongside the classroom teacher(s), maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support children's social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
  • Coordinate and implement educational curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards, with guidance from the classroom teacher(s).
  • Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous professional growth. Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents). Team player who is self-driven.
  • An interest in child development and early education.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Employment Type & Wages Part-Time, hourly. Part time salaries begin at $16/hr. Pay is based on education and experience.
