Chambliss Center for Children's Red Bank Center is looking for a dependable, caring, and enthusiastic teacher to join our toddler team and work with children who are 2 years old. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families while making a positive impact every day. This is a full-time position. Why Join Chambliss? Competitive Pay - Your starting pay is based on your education and experience: Starting at $11 per hour with a high school diploma and little experience Starting at $13 per hour with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential Up to $18-$19 per hour for candidates with additional education and relevant experience Valuable Benefits Paid vacation and sick leave Free 24/7 telehealth services Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) contributions Retirement savings plan with employer match Additional employee benefits and support programs What You'll Do Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2 to 3 Plan and implement activities that encourage learning through play Support children's social, emotional, language, and physical development Guide children using positive behavior support techniques Maintain active supervision at all times to ensure children's safety Follow state licensing standards and center policies Keep the classroom organized, clean, and welcoming Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children's progress Work closely with co-teachers and center leadership to create a successful classroom experience Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age Have a high school diploma or GED Be able to successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check Have experience caring for or teaching young children in a group setting Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for early childhood education Be able to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor while interacting with children Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds Chambliss Center for Children is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
