Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster developmental growth through fun, educational activities while ensuring the well-being of every child. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives by supervising, guiding, and inspiring children during their time at the center. Duties Supervise children across various age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, creativity, social skills, and physical activity. Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and resolve conflicts calmly and constructively. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare. Assist with daily childcare routines such as diapering, toddler care, infant care, and preschooler care as needed. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as childcare centers, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; we will provide if neccassey Demonstrated ability in child supervision, activity planning for children, behavior management, and teaching young children. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and compliance with legal requirements. Ability to engage children through teaching experience with young children or early childhood education background.
