KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Be in the nursery room, ready to care for children by 08:30am on Sundays, and 05:30pm on Wednesdays Check-in and Check-out children through the sign-in sheet or system provided by the Children's Director Maintain a timesheet log of your hours using the system or app provided by the Children's Director Follow all MinistrySafe practices and procedures at all times (training will be provided by St Paul UMC) Provide assistance, care, and cleanup for each child, which may include:- Changing diapers, or assisting with potty training
- Bottle-feeding, or snacks and drinks for each child
- Curriculum lesson or creative activity as provided by Children's Director
- Engage in age-appropriate play activities with children
- Escort and monitor children playing on the playground Routinely clean and organize the Nursery areas to insure it is clean and welcoming for parents and children Notify Children's Director when supplies, snacks, or first-aid kit need restocking, in advance. Provide additional care as scheduled for all other church events as needed, such as:
- Christmas Eve
- Holy Week before Easter
- Funerals
- Quarterly church activities Communicate weekly with Children's Director about scheduling hours, sick leave, etc.
