Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor excursions to ensure safety and engagement. Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate educational programs that promote developmental milestones. Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment conducive to learning and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities, progress, and any concerns that arise. Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures and mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Help facilitate positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children. Participate in ongoing training related to child development instruction, pediatric first aid, and special education needs as required. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices. Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire), including pediatric first aid training. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
