In this role, you will support early childhood development by implementing educational activities, managing classroom routines, and fostering positive behavior. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children thrive during their formative years, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. Responsibilities Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in preschool, toddler care, or infant care settings. Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and engagement at all times. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety standards. Support children with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. Implement behavior management strategies to foster positive interactions among children and promote respectful classroom behavior. Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents following established protocols. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education settings is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive reinforcement techniques. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and communicate clearly with parents and team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within a dynamic childcare environment.
