In this vital role, you will provide flexible support across various support roles and classroom settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of different ages. Your energetic leadership and hands-on approach will help maintain high-quality childcare services, foster positive relationships with families, and support the overall operation of our daycare center. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in young children's lives while developing your early childhood education skills. Duties Assist in supervising and engaging children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom teachers by implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on childhood development and learning milestones Provide coverage for different classrooms as needed, including toddler care, preschool, and infants, maintaining consistency and stability for children Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to foster trust and transparency Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior management and social-emotional growth Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to daycare standards for sanitation and safety Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly preferred Excellent child supervision skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively and compassionately Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare center environments Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs across different age groups such as infants, toddlers, or preschoolers Knowledge of child development instruction techniques and classroom management strategies This position is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about nurturing young minds while supporting a collaborative team environment.
