In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for our youngest learners, supporting their developmental milestones through thoughtful instruction and attentive supervision. Your energy and enthusiasm will inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning in infants and toddlers, laying a strong foundation for their future growth. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws Support children with individualized care plans, especially those with special needs or disabilities Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that align with early childhood education standards Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques to foster respectful interactions Document developmental observations to track progress and inform future planning Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and center policies at all times Qualifications Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or daycare setting is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including pediatric first aid is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to nurture young children through nurturing caregiving techniques such as babysitting or nannying experience is valuable Early childhood education coursework or credentials are advantageous but not mandatory Passion for early childhood development, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children Join us in shaping the earliest moments of children's lives by providing compassionate care combined with engaging educational experiences.
