Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play and structured activities Provide attentive infant care, toddler care, and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques that encourage positive behavior and social skills Ensure safety by applying first aid when necessary, maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment, and adhering to all health and safety regulations Support children with special education needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored caregiving strategies Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Maintain detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents to support ongoing child development assessments Skills Proven experience in early childhood education, preschool teaching, or childcare roles such as nannying or babysitting Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in working with children of various ages including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Excellent classroom management skills to create a nurturing yet structured environment Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills capable of building trusting relationships with children and families Embark on a fulfilling career where your enthusiasm for early childhood education makes a lasting impact!
