Learn and Laugh Preschool - Lead Teacher Job Description Learn and Laugh Preschool is a private child-care program located in the West Austin/Bee Cave area. Our program is looking for energetic staff who are responsible and enjoy working with young children. We'd like our new staff members to have the following skills: Have a passion for teaching and educating children Make use of company resources to develop effective lesson plans Serve as a leader for children in classroom activities Ensure children are intellectually challenged and engaged Teachers are able to meet the social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of all children Can independently supervise a classroom Able to effectively communicate with children Bring creativity and personalization to learning activities Exercise patience with children Can professionally interact with parents and other employees Maintain a positive attitude throughout the day Previous experience with teaching is highly preferred.
