Responsibilities Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs. Support children's social-emotional development by promoting cooperation, empathy, and conflict resolution skills. Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children, including literacy education, math skills, physical education, and Montessori methods. Proven classroom management skills with the ability to engage children in learning activities while maintaining discipline. Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan lessons effectively using various instructional techniques such as tutoring, storytelling, hands-on activities, and standardized testing preparation. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations in childcare settings. Experience working in daycare or private preschool environments is preferred; certification in early childhood education or Montessori training is a plus.
