Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Three-Year-Old Teacher to join our early childhood team. This is a full-time, year-round position with hours from 7:15 AM-4:30 PM. The ideal candidate understands early childhood development, creates engaging learning experiences, and fosters a safe, nurturing environment where young children can grow socially, emotionally, academically, spiritually, and creatively. Duties Create and teach developmentally appropriate lessons for three-year-olds using the Abeka Curriculum. Establish and maintain a Christ-centered, safe, and nurturing classroom environment. Observe, assess, and document each child's progress and developmental milestones. Apply knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and effective classroom management strategies. Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, staff, and children to support strong relationships and collaboration. Support children in developing positive behaviors, conflict-resolution skills, and healthy peer relationships. Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards in accordance with childcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, childcare licensing requirements, and curriculum updates. Qualifications Prior experience working with preschool children or in daycare settings is highly preferred. Certification or training in early childhood education or a related field is desirable.
